Dr. Ravindra Rane
Dr. Ravindra Rane, a medical practitioner by profession and a photographer at heart is a well-known name in the contemporary photography circle. Though he is a practicing doctor and also has his own dispensary, his busy working hours could not suppress his love for photography. So he enrolled for a course at National Institute of Photography and thus started his professional stint with photography. He has carved a niche for himself in the industry and a well deserved one, with his marvelous collection of nature and wildlife photographs. He is now a very active member of the Photographic Society of India (PSI) and has many awards under his belt. And he believes this is just the beginning. Mukesh Trivedi, an ex-NIPIAN is a senior photographer in DNA news paper Mumbai. He completed an Advance photography course 5 years back and then started freelancing for a few years. Now he is a well-paid and well established photo journalist.
Saiprasad Patil, an ex-student of NIP completed his Advance Photography and Video Shooting course in the year 1995. He is presently working with one of the top most news channels AAJ TAK as a senior Video Cameraman and also one of the many ex-NIPIANS who are employed by different news channels in India. He is thankful to NIP for receiving in-depth knowledge in photography, which he believes helped him a lot in his profession as a news cameraman. He also believes that a cinematographer or a video cameraman must learn the basic techniques of photography as it lays foundation to movie photography.
Saiprasad, though he learned photography in the year 1995, keeps in touch regularly with our Course Director Prof. Manohar Desai and refreshes his knowledge. He also takes keen interest in still photography though he is a professional video cameraman. He visits many places as part of his job and captures beautiful images there. He got introduced to digital photography recently after he completed two more courses namely Digital Photo Editing and Digital Photo Imaging from NIP. Now he operates a prosumer digital still camera and takes very good still pictures for his own enjoyment. A few of the pictures are displayed in the gallery.
Ritesh Biswas, a young boy from Raipur Chhattisgarh did Advance Photography course and 4-day Modeling Workshop from NIP. He is now in charge of family owned "Calcutta Photo Studio" and runs the studio more confidently than before.Have a close look of his recent work.

Rakesh Kulkarni is an ex NIPIAN and has completed Diploma in Fashion Photography and presently working (as Senior laboratory assistant/Photographer) in State Forensic Laboratory (Mumbai), and has a passion for fashion and productphotography too.
Vishal completed his Diploma in Commercial Art from Vasai Vikasini's College of Visual Art and Diploma in Fashion Photography from our institute NIP. He is now ready to take any commercial assignment that comes his way. Plz have a deko of some of his images shot for the college project work.
